After completing five sessions throughout the 21-22 school year, these educational professionals are ready to set the educational world on fire! This collaborative effort, through Southwest Plains Regional Service Center, USA-Kansas and KASB , created a leadership academy designed to prepare educational leaders in western Kansas. Sessions rotated between Sublette, Oakley and culminated at the USA Conference the first week of June 2022.

Participants were nominated by an administrator in their district and are active teacher leaders, building leaders, and/or district level leaders. The sessions focused on equipping potential and current leaders with the skills they need to lead western Kansas districts into the future and ensuring western Kansas has trained leaders ready to fill open positions.
