January 21, 2020
8:30 am - 2:30 pm

at the Southwest Plains Conference Center
810 W. Lark Avenue, Sublette

Let us add to your tools for Stakeholder Engagement!
Kansas systems have laid a solid foundation of parent involvement.

  • What is the difference between involvement and engagement?
  • Why is family engagement important?
  • What are the barriers to two-way communication?
  • How do we positively impact students beyond high school graduation?
  • What actions can we take to improve the 5 Year Success Rate?
  • How are minority families different?

Growing in knowledge of diverse cultures will help you answer these questions and build on your foundation of parent involvement and move your system towards authentic family engagement.

Participants will be energized by collaborating to generate ideas that will meet the needs of culturally diverse communities and improve student learning.
