WHY?

  • Provide enhance support for KESA
  • Benefit form collaborative dialogue and exchange of best practice across participation Northwest Kansas systems
  • Design individualized KESA solutions, as needed by specific districts

WHAT?

  • Content driven by KESA System expectations as outline by KSDE and KSBE
  • Districts participate via selected system representatives
  • Quarterly sessions 

HOW?

  • Integrate professional learning in home districts using the "train-the-trainer" model
  • Request additional to-the-door, customized district service as needed

KESA Kadre Content Year 3 Tasks*

  • Review of OVT Annual Report to guide next steps
  • Goal Implementation as per action plans
  • Growth Measures (collection, disaggregation, and analysis)
  • Mid Year Review (adjustment for continuous school improvement)
  • Professional Learning Plan aligned to KESA Goals and State Board Outcomes
  • Compliance & Foundations annual review
  • Stakeholder Engagement (ongoing feedback & sphere of support)
  • Preparation for Year 3 OVT System visit

*content adjusted for participating districts in Year 2,4, or 5

Registration Fee:
$700 per district for all 4 Kadre days
(allows 1-10 attendees)

 

College Credit Available: 0.5 college credit hour ($45 payable to MidAmerica Nazarene)
