Hilarity Therapy

Staff Motivational Inservice with John Irvin

John has been creating "playful opportunities" for the professional and personal growth of his client for over 25 years. Each program that he presents sends a clear message that everyone is capable of achieving great things, that we can all do more and be more than what we currently are, and most importantly, we can have great fun while doing it!

Hilarity Therapy uses a unique blend of psychology, experiential interaction and showmanship to make each program entertaining, informative and FUN!

In today's stressful age, the ability to see the positive side of things is essential to our vision, our relationships, productivity, problem solving skills, even our health!  Hilarity Therapy is a fun and entertaining program that is designed to do just that; to give us the  necessary skills and to remind us of the power of seeing the positive side.

This playful program contains a significant message and can help to breakdown the barriers among your attendees.  This creates a unifying team building experience and enhances the networking potential of any group!

This program will:

  • discuss that the ability to have fun and use humor in the workplace can result in increased customer service
  • explain how humor helps one to overcome the negative effects of challenge, stress & change
  • explain how one reacts to stress is within his/her personal control and that one is completely responsible for one's own actions and reactions
  • discuss that certain reactions to stress may increase one's risk of illness and disease
  • discuss that utilizing appropriate humor will interrupt the stress cycle and will boost one's immune system
  • identify specific techniques that will increase the participant's ability to use humor in stressful situations, minimizing negative interpersonal interactions and strengthening positive relationships
  • to remind participants in a powerful way that our attitude is a choice
  • to lift participant's spirits and encourage the position that we can do whatever we desire
