Consultant Information for

Jara Wilson

Jara came to SWPRSC in 2007 as an Educational Consultant and the Virtual School teacher. Since then she has become the
Student Services Coordinator, Sublette CLC Coordinator, and
Literacy Coach. She is involved with the elementary, middle
and high school CLASS Leadership. Jara is certified through Capturing Kid’s Hearts, trained in Love and Logic, a state-recognized MTSS Trainer, and also trained for the Kansas Character Education Grant.

Jara earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary
Education from Sterling College and her Masters Degree in
Educational Leadership from Fort Hays State University.

Jara has a passion in the education field and excels in motivating and encouraging students to discover their leadership potential. This is a passion that she shares with her father, Joe Coles, who worked for SWPRSC until July, 2009. Her mother is an elementary teacher in Cimarron, Kansas.
