Consultant Information for

 Arlene Holderness


Arlene Holderness is a graduate of St. Mary of the Plains College and is certified in K-9 Elementary, 7-9 Social Studies, 7-9 Mathematics, 5-8 English Language Arts, and K-12 English as a Second Language.  

She taught 1st Grade at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Dodge city for 6 years, was Education Coordinator at Dodge City Head Start for 6 years, and taught 3rd Grade at Montezuma Elementary School for 9 years.

She joined SWPRSC in 2004 as an Educational Consultant.

Arlene is a trainer for Ruby Payne's Framework for Understanding Poverty and Tucker Signing Strategies for Reading.  She also supports districts and teachers with online curriculum alignment, school improvement, and instructional strategies.

Her specialties include:

  • Work Sampling Assessment

Arlene also supports districts and teachers with online curriculum alignment, school improvement, and instructional strategies.  She also oversees the Virtual Prescriptive Learning program and PDC services for the SWPRSC area.
