Keynote speaker Jim Burgett is an educator and author who has been recognized nationally for his ability to lead, motivate, inspire, and teach.
Jim has received dozens of awards for teaching, ability as an administrator, and his service to many professional organizations. He was twice named the administrator of the year in Illinois and has been a popular speaker for over twenty years.
He will show
you "hands-on" way to immediately improve what you do.

passion and practical know-how with his educational colleagues

A mathematics teacher since 1994, Tracy will share some of his personal testimony about the evolution of his philosophy on teaching mathematics through the years and the impact it has made in his life and the life of his students.
With professional collaboration, strategic planning, and a willingness to seek change for improvement and not for the sake of change, mathematics education for all student can be a reality. Tracy presents reasons for change, ideas to help implement change, and how monitoring the change is best achieved.
